The Case:
Boldness and strength define this understated timepiece, the Victorinox Alliance 241817 measures at 44mm in diameter and 12mm in height. The brushed circular case is crafted from high-grade stainless steel and it comes equipped with a screw down crown besides the 3 o’clock mark and two further buttons. The fixed, bevelled bezel is home to the tachymeter readings that display fuel lbs, litres, lbs, kg, us gal, and oil lbs, which harks back to the watch’s pilot-based roots. This piece also features a bidirectional inner rotating bezel, which also displays tachymeter readings. The inner bezel is operated using the crown which is found on the right side of the case. A triple coated anti reflective, scratch resistant, sapphire crystal protects the dial.
The Dial:
The blue dial of the timepiece is home to several eye-catching features and numerous sub dials. Lume painted and raised, applied incidences shaped like Swiss Army knives are present. The hour, minute and second hands come in a long and elegant style, they too are luminesce. The second hand for the tachymeter is a vibrant red which adds more colour and life to the watch. There are 3 sub dials. These are the 30-minute, 12 hour, and 60 second dials. The 12 o’clock marker has been replaced by a Victorinox logo. A date window is also present between the 4 and 5 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
Perhaps the most alluring feature of this timepiece is the oyster style stainless steel bracelet. The contrasting polished and brushed design creates a visual barrier that runs around the entirety of the bracelet. Notably, the oyster style bracelet was made famous by Rolex.
The Functions:
Swiss-made quartz movement powers this timepiece that prides itself on its dependability. It also offers hand and automatic winding, as well as a hacking feature. It is water resistant up to 100 metres, so that is suitable for the purpose of snorkelling.

Free Strap Adjustment
It's important that your watch fits your wrist comfortably and looks great at the same time.
Leather strap watches tend to fit without a problem for most wearers. However, watches fitted with metal bracelets often need adjusting to get the perfect fit.
This is generally a very simple procedure. We can do this for you, or you can get the watch adjusted locally.
Option 1. Specify your wrist measurement and we will adjust it before being sent
When purchasing a watch which has a metal bracelet with adjustable links, we will gladly adjust the watch bracelet to fit your wrist before sending the watch to you - free of charge!
Simply type your wrist measurement (in inches or centimetres) into the bracelet size section of the checkout and we will ensure the watch bracelet is adjusted accordingly before being sent to you. We will include all the surplus links, with the watch.
How to measure your wrist
You can measure your wrist with a piece of string which you can measure against a ruler:
You should allow about half a centimetre (1/4 inch) of slack to prevent it being too tight on your wrist.
In the event of you needing an extra-long wrist bracelet, which requires an extension to the original watch, we must obtain extra links from the manufacturer, and in this event, we will contact you to inform you of any possible delays or applicable charges.
Watches with bracelets adjusted by WatchNation are still eligible under our refund policy.
Option 2. Buy the watch online from WatchNation and have it adjusted locally
If you wish, you can have it adjusted locally by another jeweller or key cutter. However, you will have to cover the cost of this option yourself.
